What Is This Lawsuit About?

The lawsuit claims that Defendants violated Washington’s gambling laws and Washington’s Consumer Protection Act, and that Defendant was unjustly enriched, through the sale of virtual coins in the following social casino-style games: Cash Frenzy, Lotsa Slots, Jackpot World, Vegas Friends, Jackpot Mania, Jackpot Fever, DAFU, Cash Bash, and Jackpot Crush. Defendants deny all claims and that they violated any law.

 

Who Is in the Settlement Class?

The Court decided that everyone who fits the following description is a member of the Settlement Class:

    • You are a Settlement Class Member if you played Cash Frenzy, Lotsa Slots, Jackpot World, Vegas Friends, Jackpot Mania, Jackpot Fever, DAFU, Cash Bash, and Jackpot Crush, on or before January 31, 2022, while located in the state of Washington.

 

What Does this Settlement Provide?

A Settlement Fund has been created totaling $3,500,000.00. Class Member payments, and the cost to administer the Settlement, the cost to inform people about the Settlement, attorneys’ fees (inclusive of litigation costs), and an award to the Class Representative will also come out of this fund.

FILE A CLAIM FORM
January 26, 2023 - Passed		 If you are a Class Member and you wanted to get a payment, you must have completed and submitted a Claim Form. The deadline to submit a Claim Form has passed.
EXCLUDE YOURSELF
November 7, 2022 - Passed		 You could have requested to exclude yourself from the Settlement. You would receive no benefits, but retain any rights you have to sue the Defendant about the claims in this case. The deadline to exclude yourself has passed.
OBJECT
November 7, 2022 - Passed		 You could have written to the Court explaining why you didn't like the Settlement. The deadline to object to the Settlement has passed.
GO TO HEARING
December 1, 2022 at 9:00 a.m.  - Passed		 You could have asked to speak in Court about your opinion of the Settlement on or before December 1, 2022.
